Top 5 Kitchen Trends of 2025 from TikTok
Now that we’re well into 2025, it’s time to unveil this year’s kitchen trends. TikTok has become a go-to for the latest trends, but catching them before they vanish can be challenging. Therefore, we’ve compiled a list of the kitchen trends we believe will endure.
5. Pocket Door
Pocket doors are sliding into prominence! While this trend isn’t new, the range of pocket doors available for bespoke kitchens has significantly improved. Installing these doors has also become easier over the years.
They strike a balance between aesthetics and functionality, saving space by neatly folding or sliding into the bespoke kitchen larder. Ideal for modern kitchens aiming for clean, sleek lines, or smaller, unconventional layouts.
4. Fluted Glass
Fluted glass is making a comeback, transitioning from its art deco roots to become a modern kitchen centrepiece. When paired with bold colours, it adds texture and makes a statement, albeit requiring careful integration to avoid overwhelming the space.
Reeded panels, which we predicted would stick around from last year, continue to appear. While we don’t recommend combining fluted glass and reeded panels, each offers unique ways to introduce texture and interest to modern kitchens. Reeded panels are particularly popular in achieving a ‘japandi’ aesthetic, combining clean lines with warm, natural tones from eco-friendly materials.
3. Earth Tones
Earth tones are still going strong in 2025, and it’s easy to see why. Warm, natural shades like terracotta, olive green, sandy beige, and rich browns bring a cosy, grounded feel to any kitchen. These colours work beautifully with natural materials like wood, stone, and textured finishes, creating a space that feels both stylish and welcoming.
The best part? Earth tones are incredibly versatile. Soft greens and warm neutrals create a calm, airy vibe, while deeper, moodier shades like rust or walnut add a touch of drama. Whether you’re going for a rustic, Japandi-inspired look or something sleek and modern, these colours help tie everything together, making your kitchen feel effortlessly inviting.
2. Hostingcore
‘Hostingcore’ is the latest way to describe kitchens designed for entertaining—and it’s all about making hosting easier and more enjoyable. Think open layouts, big kitchen islands with plenty of seating, and smart storage that keeps everything within reach but out of sight. Whether you’re throwing a dinner party or just having a few friends over, the goal is to create a space that feels as fun and functional as it is stylish.
This trend is all about the little details that make a big difference. Wine fridges, hidden bars, and warming drawers. Smart tech like app-controlled lighting and ovens that preheat with a voice command. A well-designed hosting kitchen means you can cook, chat, and enjoy yourself without feeling like you’re stuck in the kitchen while everyone else has fun. It’s about creating a space where good food, great company, and effortless entertaining all come togethe
1. Hidden Pantry
Our top pick this year is the hidden pantry. Last year, we designed three hidden doors: one leading to a dressing room wardrobe, one to a kitchen, and another to a utility room. This year, hidden pantries take the spotlight!
It’s an excellent way to add discreet storage, complete with shelves, drawers, a small worktop, and sometimes even a sink and appliance space. It’s perfect for keeping things tidy yet accessible.
Behind this door, you can have a butler’s pantry, a walk-in pantry, or simply a built-in pantry, catering to varying space requirements.
